This is a short history of AMS. Our mission is to help those who wish to play for the church to reach their goal. Along the way ,we have expanded our mission to help all who wish to be a musician.

Al's Music Services was established in 1991  to train church musicians at the new Mt. Moriah Baptist Church.

It was in 1993, AMS added voice lessons to our services and in 1993.

The Wynnefield office (5425 Woodbine Ave.) opened in 1993.

In 1995, AMS added Drum Instruction.

In 1997, The West Phila satellite (Older Adult Sunshine Center) opened. Piano Lessons for seniors 55 and older.  

In 2003,we added organ and violin instruction.

In 2005, we added guitar and bass instruction.

In 2005, The Germantown satellite (Center in the Park) opened.     Piano Lessons for seniors 55 and older.

In 2007, we added music theory and began the AMS band.

We are looking to further expand our instruction services to include computer classes in June 2009. Come join our family!!!!!
